YBOA of the Carolinas

1, 2 and 3 day events are offered every weekend in both North and South Carolina

from the first part of February through the end of August.

We'd encourage you to take a look at what we have to offer.

Types of YBOA of the Carolinas Tournaments

Invitationals –open to all teams from all states (Nearly all of our Invitationals guarantee 4+ scheduled games and offer a Pool /Bracket Play format)

Qualifiers- limited to North and South Carolina YBOA teams only (All Qualifiers guarantee 4+ scheduled games and offer a Pool /Bracket Play format)

Qualifiers are seeded based on a point system. Teams that participate in (Points Series Events) Invitationals earn points that will determine their seeding in Qualifiers.

All teams advance from Qualifiers to the NC and SC D-I and D-II State Championship Tournaments.

State Championships- limited to North and South Carolina YBOA teams only (State Championships guarantee 3+ scheduled games and offer a Bracket Play format. These tournaments are seeded based on a teams’ finish in the State Qualifier)

Higher finishing teams become eligible to advance to the YBOA D-I and D-II National Championship Tournaments held in late June and July of each year.

All YBOA events require that your Players, Coaches and Association be registered with the YBOA National organization.

Become familiar with YBOA rules, age groups and divisions. Rules can be found at our rules/regulations page on this website or at (www.yboa.org)
Select the players and coaches that will make up your team roster and staff.

How to enter YBOA of the Carolinas Tournaments

Click on the corresponding button of the type of tournament you want to enter. Scroll down and click on the name of the event. Choose 1 of the entry options (Enter Online or Enter by Mail) and click the corresponding button.

If you choose the Enter by Mail option, print the entry form and follow the 5 instructions at the bottom.

If you choose the Enter Online option, fill out the online entry form, click the Add to Cart button and use a credit card of your choice to pay for your entry.

Teams that enter online must send the following items to the YBOA of the Carolinas office:

YBOA Player Registration Form stamped PAID
Copies of Birth Certificates for each player (Birth Document must be from State, County or Municipal Bureau of Vital Statistics- Hospital copies are not acceptable)
Copy of most current report card for Grade Exception players

How to find info on Tournaments that you enter

Click on the name of the Tournament you entered:

For Schedules: Click the Schedule button below the tournament listing. Schedules will generally be available after 11 PM on the Wednesday before the event starts.
